No Carry On Bags

Speaker: Jack Carpenter

Can I ask you a question?

If you could weigh every single hurt in your life, what would it add up to?

Make sure to weigh it all. Weigh every time someone said something bad about you, every time you said something bad about yourself, every broken relationship, every fear, every worry, and every bad habit for the totality of your life up until now.

That would be a lot of weight to carry around, wouldn’t it?

You probably already know this, but we DO carry these things around with us every day. They influence our interactions with others and how we feel about ourselves.

Now, imagine yourself, having to carry a bag around for each hurt. If you are like me, you just imagined yourself loaded down with bags. It’s far too much to carry, isn’t it?

Join us on Sunday, September 15 as we look at “No carry on bags” and together we will identify many of the “bags” that we carry around, and we will look forward to an upcoming series on how God through Christ can help us to walk in freedom.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
