Grow Part 3: #ownership

Speaker: Jack Carpenter

Imagine that you have received the most sought-after treasure in the world, a treasure so valuable that it’s worth can’t even be measured.

Receiving this treasure has only one requirement, you must retain responsibility for it.

How would you do that?

Our lives are full of things that we have to be responsible for, right? Things that we must “own” because others can’t do it for us?

What comes to mind?

Planning for the future?

How about relationships?

Take it a step deeper, how about your relationship with God?

Isn’t your relationship with God the most valuable treasure there is?

Galatians 6:7-8 (The Message) says “Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others – ignoring God, harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life

Taking ownership of our relationship with God is something we cannot ignore.

In part 3 of our GROW series, we will discover how we may grow into a deeper relationship with God by taking #ownership of our daily walk with Him.

I hope to see you Sunday @ 11:00!
