One of the most exciting things we encounter with God is gaining a new vision or path for our lives.
One of the most tragic things we encounter with God is when the vision/purpose/path is revealed, we have the tendency to keep looking backward.
We ignore a new vision because it requires change., and change can be scary.
We don’t grasp a new vision because it requires us to let go of what makes us comfortable.
We won’t consider a new vision because it requires us to set aside “this is how it’s always been”.
Preferring to remain in yesterday is not a good place to be.
Preferring to remain in yesterday will stunt your growth in God and cause you to wander around without purpose.
Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) say’s it this way, “If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
